A lot of people take the importance of the company ID for granted; some even think that it is a complete waste of money. This is totally untrue. For one, without it, imagine how easy it would be for anyone to gain access to your work premises unmonitored. There would be chaos as it would be very difficult for the building administrator to keep track on who exactly are entering and exiting the premises at specific times, whether on or off-work hours. There is no doubt that the use of the company ID system can make the job of your security personnel a lot easier.

Employee IDs using custom labels from Maverick can solve the problem. Made of waterproof materials, these can be used by employees on their cars upon entering the premises. The ID should contain, among others, the Company name, validity date, and the employee name or something to identify the employee with. A numerical system or anything that will work well with the security team will do. The ID can easily be noticed by your security personnel who can identify the passenger and validate if he is authorized to get in.

Because a lot of the employees who rush daily to work do not really bother about who else gets in or out of the building, it is up to the security group to make sure that everyone who gets in is accounted for at all times, and that all employees must wear their IDs upon entry. To make it easy for them, therefore, label printing of pertinent details on the ID must be very clear and easy to read so as not to strain the eye of the inspector and cause heavy traffic on the flow of employees and visitors.

The important thing to remember when implementing an ID system is that is must constantly be updated and monitored. A staff from the Human Resources Department must be responsible in coordinating employee movements with the security personnel. A simple precautionary step can help a lot in preventing disgruntled or separated employees from stealing important or critical company documents and delivering them to the major competitors.

If a sound monitoring system is in place, the Maverick label ID with sufficient security features will provide safety not only to the company but to the employees as well. The identification cards cannot be easily replicated and used by a non-employee to enter the company premises and perpetrate an illegal activity. Neither can an employee lend his ID to an outsider as this will be immediately caught by alert security men.

Waterproof labels from Maverick are specifically designed for use in all types of weather conditions, and are more cost-effective than other traditional alternatives. They can even be used in cars so the employee need not get off the vehicle when checking into the premises. All employees will ultimately appreciate the fact that the company has their personal safety in mind while they are at work.
