It's not about just hiring a carpet cleaning machine and ploughing through your cleaning. You have to know some essential tips before you can achieve anything like a worthwhile result.

Many years ago, I cleaned carpets for a living. Unbeknown to me, I was doing the job completely wrong. I used to go into the house, office, pub ext and just get stuck into cleaning. I thought how I was doing it was the right way, but I was wrong! I was drenching carpets in order to get the soils out. I thought I was doing it right, but unfortunately it was not so!

After many years of this sort of carpet cleaning practice, I found an important answer. That's right, I discovered how to clean a carpet properly. To my amazement, the results that followed were astounding. I was actually cleaning carpets and getting a fantastic result every time. My new found knowledge enabled me to successfully and confidently give each and every customer their complete satisfaction with my work.

I didn't change the cleaning machine for a more powerful one. I didn't use any different chemicles for cleaning. What I did do was, I discovered a technique for cleaning carpets that actually worked twice as good as the technique I used before. This technique came from professional training.

I continued with my carpet cleaning work for many years using my new found technique. I was able, after just a short time, I managed to grow my carpet cleaning business very quickly. I got repeat work, referrals and a lot of the time, I got extra on top of my charges. This all came about through the discovery of carpet cleaning techniques that actually worked better.

What's the secret?

Well, If I point this out to you, you'll think that it's obviously very practical. You see, before finding this technique, I was actually overweting carpets.They were getting drenched. Sometimes carpets would be wet for days after cleaning. I simply had to keep going-over and over the carpets with the machine to remove the soils. Carpets eventually dried dull and lifeless looking. Soon after cleaning the carpets looked soiled again. I was obviously fighting a loosing battle with my previous carpet cleaning efforts.

IT'S ALL ABOUT PRE-SPRAYING AND BRUSH AGITATION.

That's right, how my cleaning technique changed was by incorporating a pre-spray solution into it. The pre-spray is solely responsible for doing the carpet cleaning work. Before, it was the carpet cleaning machine that I depended on for cleaning. Having pre-sprayed a carpet first, then gently agitating the pre-spray with a 'carpet pile brush', great results became inevitable. The theory is that the pre-spray and brush agitation actually does all of the cleaning work. The carpet cleaning machine is not used for cleaning with this method. The machine is used only for rinsing, not for cleaning.

Can you see how this system works? Can you see that by pre-spraying and brush agitating it will loosen soils in carpets, dislodge soils from fibres and will also dissolve soils too. That makes rinsing so much easier. The soils in the carpet are no longer continuously drenched by repeated passes of the extraction machine. Like before, it took sometimes three or four extraction passes with the machine to remove soils. But now, with pre-spraying and brush agitation, just one pass of the extraction machine is usally enough.

Will this system work on any carpet?

Yes. With pre-spray and brush agitation your carpets will come to life, no matter how soiled they are now. Because you are only passing the machine over your carpets once, then carpets dry faster. You don't get the wet for days carpets. You get quick drying carpets that look colourful, bright and clean. Carpets stay clean for much longer too.

Usually, the reson why carpets look flat and dull after a few weeks from cleaning it's due to over wetting. Now you can eliminate over wetting by using this system which gets superb results every time. You don't need no special skills, but you do need a few low cost tools. It's well worth investing in a 'carpet pile brush' and a good 'pre-spray solution'. You'll need a 'rinse solution' and of course you'll need to hire a machine if you haven't got one already.

Honestly, it's well worth trying this system if you insist on a great carpet cleaning result. Always vacuum clean your carpets before you attempt to clean them. And when cleaning a carpet, work slowly, rushing through the cleaning won't give you a great result. Do your carpet cleaning slowly. You will always get a great result from your efforts if you clean carpets slowly.
