Billiards tables are the rectangular-shaped tables that are usually color green, with six pockets, with a height up to the waste of a man. Billiards tables are used to play billiards. Billiards is a two-player game (sometimes played by three or four depending on the internal rules of the game) that uses a stick to hit one of the 15 balls numbered one to 15, using a mother ball, so that the former will enter one of the six holes.

The main goal of the game of billiards is to be able to shoot the balls into one of the pockets. What ball to shoot depends on what is being played. The most popular among all these, as everyone probably knows, is the nine balls.

Billiard tournaments often play nine balls. In this game, there are only 10 balls on the table. There is the mother ball , and the balls numbers one to nine. The target of this game is to shoot the 9 ball first before one's opponent does. But the catch is that it is not the nine ball that one shoots, but the balls in its chronological order. So at the beginning of the game, both players will target to shoot the ball 1. When that is in, any player who is next will try to shoot 2. Both players have the same goal of shooting all balls in order, but having in mind that the nine ball is the winning ball. So as each try to shoot a ball, he must also try to hit the nine ball in a manner that it will also enter a pocket. There are strategies to do this and billiard tables are designed to make strategies and tricks while playing the game.

Billiard tables have been a game for decades now, loved by many because though it involves a little interaction to another person, which is the opponent, it allows one to think and move and coordinate the two effectively in order to win.
