Once upon a time there were two men from two different time periods who shared the same dream: to innovate and to lead in their own respective fields. The Swiss watchmaker Edouard Heuer dreamed of becoming a leading watch manufacturer by introducing pioneering watch designs. On the other hand, businessman Bernie Ecclestone envisioned Formula racing as more than just a racing championship. Two men from two different worlds, both motivated by the desire to create something more for the world.

Through all the differences, these two men have something in common: time. Edouard Heuer wanted to create accurate, durable, and reliable timepieces by continuously honing his crafts and developing new designs. On the other hand, Bernie Ecclestone started out as a race car driver himself, eventually moving on to manage a racing team and becoming the primary authority of Formula 1 racing.

Fast forward to the present. Tag Heuer, inspired by the rush of Formula 1 racing, has created another amazing addition to the Tag Heuer Formula 1 line, the Tag Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph. In the tradition of Formula 1 racing, the design of this Tag Heuer Formula 1 watch is influenced by a racing car's instrument panel in the dashboard, which brings to mind Edouard Heuer's own innovative dashboard chronograph. The Tag Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph combines top of the line technology and superior choice of materials, creating an exceptional high-end sports watch in a class of its own.

The Tag Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph features functions with its 30 minute, 60 second, and 1/10th of a second subdials, as well as date function. In addition, it has a unidirectional bezel coated with titanium carbide, making it scratch proof. The same thing goes to its dial window made of scratch-proof sapphire crystal.

Precision Swiss quartz analog watch movement is made possible with the battery powered ETA caliber G10.711. The chronograph features the following: 1/10 second resolution, 1 second resolution via a central sweep hand, 30-minute range, as well as add and split time functions. The watch bracelet is made of fine brushed stainless steel with a concealed double push button clasp. It is 20 mm wide with a diving extension.
